MY 1988 MUSTANG GT

This is my project car. I've owned it since December 1999. It was originally going to just be a quick driver, but has since changed directions. The current plan is to get into the 12 second 1/4 mile times with the stock motor. I have run a best sofar of 13.18 @ 100.75 mph. This was at SPEEDWORLD in Phoenix, AZ during the 2000 NMRA race. UPDATE !! New best time run at Pomona Raceway December 10,2000. 12.976 @ 102.64 mph! Car was run same as before. It actually spun for a few feet off the line to a 1.703 60' time. The nova in the other lane even pitched it's driveshaft at me, and took out my passenger side parking light. I feel the car still has a 12.80 in it with god hook and weather. If I can get the new trans in soon, I will go to Carlsbad and give it a shot.
